Hey viewers, today i’m gonna be talking about Death, Dying and the Afterlife
1st. We have learnt about the black death/ The plague that killed everyone in 1338 or 1339. Link for the Black plague for more information The Plague
2nd. We’ve also learned and worked about how different cultures do their funerals and we learnt this by watching Coco. Coco taught us how in Coco, they show that when people die they have their own other world and on the day of the dead they come and cross over a bridge to see their living family.
3rd. There are 4 ways that losing someone can affect you.
NO.1: Taha hinengaro which is Emotional and mental. Losing someone is definently gonna affect your emotional and make you go mental on yourself and sometimes others.
NO.2 Taha Tinana, which is physical. This can also affect you in some ways like, helping you lose stress and to also start processing grief.
NO.3 Taha Whanau, Which is Social. Social is definently affecting you when someone dies by you just wanting to be lonely and live in your grief and depression instead of talking to someone which social affects you to not be social, but other people just deal with it knowing that it’s human nature, one of the saddest ones ever
.
NO.4 And last of all Taha Wairua, which is spiritual, this one affects everything towards you when someone leaves everything behind, because your spirit is who you are, so your spirit getting affected by grief, depression, acceptance, bargaining and denying, will let all that go in your spirit cause it’s human nature.
