Fractions are changing into Decimals and then turning into Percentages!!

Greetings Math enthusiast!!

Today I will talk about what me and the year 7 have been learning from Math this week!

At the start of the week, Whaea Lorraine told us about our new Math topic! Which was converting Fractions, Decimals and Percentages! I was unsure of this topic when it was introduced. Before she told us to do the slides on her site she gave each and all of us an income out of nowhere. She gave us all $60 for going to school for the full week last week and for going to school on Monday. We were rich until we had to pay for some MATH EQUIPTMENT!!! It wasn’t that bad, literally only $2 for a pencil. As we all went to her buying her pencils (Not for real!) we all lost $2. After all the money business we started with the check in where we had to figure out what 1/2 is as a decimal and Percentages. As she explained what to do I realised it was actually simple and then I began to enjoy this topic of Math A LOT!! So what I learnt is that 1/2 is 0.50 as a decimal and to get a percentage from that decimal is to times by a hundred and give it a percentage symbol which means it was 50%

Thank you all for reading my blog!!

Sincerely,

Kas.
