How do flowers attract bees?
Flowers attract bees because of their sweet aroma, the bright colors and the food rewards. They get nectar or pollen. Flowers use hidden UV light patterns to guide the bee to the middle part. The colors that bees see the best are blue, purple and yellow.
Bees can’t see the color red so red flowers rarely get pollinated. Flowers also carry a negative charge while bees have a positive charge. The static charge helps bees sense flowers around them and make pollen stick on the bees body.
