Room 19 learners explored how to write quality comments on one another’s blog posts. They learnt to begin with a friendly greeting, followed by a positive, thoughtful, and helpful comment. Whaea Natalie demonstrated how to use sentence starters to help learners develop and share their own ideas. Through an interactive sorting activity, learners also identified the difference between quality and unhelpful comments. Reading, writing, and responding respectfully online helps strengthen learners’ literacy skills and build positive relationships with one another.
