How to launch a water rocket
Equipment
- 2l plastic bottle
- Air pump
- Water
- Aqualad rocket
- String for pressure launcher
- U peg for stand
- Safety glasses
- Open field
- 10 pumps of air
Method
- Fill the bottle with water a quarter of the bottle.
- Then in then look for an open field then put all the stuff like safely glasses on
- then bring air pump and the string
- Grab the bottle then flip the stand upside down then screw it on.
- But put the peg under it so the launcher doesn’t fly away .
- Next grab the string then put your safety glasses on.
- Then step on the pump 10 times then grab the string
- Lastly pull it then it will fly.
Rocket tips
We did 20 to 40 but we did not do up to 50psi. That was our limit.
If you do it, wearing safety glasses comes first.
We have been learning about forming hypotheses to predict the results of experiments. we used water rockets to experiment and checket our results. I liked when we launched them it was fun to watch
