Ella – Length and Perimeter

Kia Ora bloggers and readers,

This week the year 6’s from my class and Room 1 have been learning about perimeter and length. We have learnt the different types of lengths like centimeter, millimeter, decameter, meter, kilometer, and even more! We have also learnt how to find the perimeter in a shape.

You can find a perimeter in a shape by:
1. Measuring all of the sides to find the length of each side, then you add all of the numbers together to find the perimeter!.

Anyways, today, I have finished my Interactive sheet in Oxford Digital on my Chromebook. I had to find the perimeter in each shape shown.

Can you figure out each answer? (Scroll down to see the answers)

Comment your answers! I want to see if you also know how to find a perimeter.

Bye bye bloggers/readers! I hope you have enjoyed my blog. You can comment what you want me to add on this blog if you want. (◔‿◔)
