WALT: read for understanding!
HEY MY WEIWER”S!
I created a plot matrix to identify the feather of a narrative created story map to retell a story in order in read so we can get the understanding of mythical creature applying my understanding of the story of the taniwha and awarua. I will tell you the story Awarua a pink looking snake thing idk I mean I don’t know she was living in a river called porirua habour. she said it was her home because she had nowhere else to go but the river of porrua of the harbour she wanted to fly so bad but her wings were to small and her body was heavy so taniwha wanted to help her at first her didn’t wan’t to but Awarua said I WILL GIVE YOU SOmE FOoD. ofc she will say yes people like food
that the first day of swimming lessons she struggled to fly but she kept trying after an hour taniwha wanted to go Awarua was sad so she practiced alone she KEPT trying and trying untill she flyed then the next day the taniwha the bird came back to help awarua. The taniwha look at her wings and she helped her. Then awarua started flying in the air the water helped her below to fly then she STARTED FLYING! am in the AIR! am flying awarua shouted. then see laned proud an unhurt.
I really injoyed the story when see was flying and very proud. What I found challeing was the words in the book it was in Mario it was hard to read.
