Current and Voltage:
Voltage is the electrical pressure that pushes charge, while current is the actual flow of electrical charge in the circuit. So Voltage measures potential energy and current measures the rate of charge flow past a point.

Here is a closed series circuit, while the one on the far right is a closed parallel circuit. So, what’s the difference. For the series circuit on the left, there is only one loop, As for the parallel on the right has 2 or multiple loops. A parallel circuit is used in your homes because they allow all light to operate independently and receive the same full voltage from the power source.
