I strongly believe that school lunch times should be long so we get more time to play after Netball or Kapa Haka practice. Teachers also could have a longer break and we could have more play with friends.
Firstly, having a longer lunch means longer fun! I mean yeah doing work could be fun too, but having more time with your friends is important too. You can also spend time with other people who are not in class.
Secondly, teachers also need longer breaks from their tamariki. For example they need their own space and they could have more to eat well setting up the class.
Finally, having a longer lunch time means teachers have enough time to eat and have time away from their tamariki.
As you can see from my point of view, it is clear that we need a longer lunch time so people have time to play after Netball or Kapa Haka, kids have enough time to play with friends and teachers can eat well setting up the class.
The purpose of Persuasive writing is to drag the reading into your opinion.
This means, we need to make the person reading agree with our topic
This week I chose the topic why lunchtimes should be longer.
