This week was Maori language week and our reading task was based on that so we got to choose a create task to do involving Maori language week and I chose art.
I enjoyed making up my own Maori art.
What did you do to celebrate Maori this week?
The Next thing we had to do was find out the meanings of these four words:
- Motu means Land, nation,island or country.
- Kaimoana means sea food.
- Kohi/kohia means collect gather or harvest.
- puritia means to help keep or retain.
