Kia Ora Bloggers And Readers,
Today I will be talking about what I have been doing in reading time.
So we have been reading about a book called school journal June 2012 and there was a story in the book called Mmm that’s tasty and what we had to do was skim through the book and we also learned how you taste buds work and what we did was we had to research about some words that we do not know and here are the things that I have came across from.
- Muscle layer: A muscle layer can refer either to the connective tissue wrappings inside a skeletal muscle or a smooth muscle sheets found in the walls of hollow organs.
- Tonsils: Tonsils are two round, fleshy masses of tissue located at the back of your throat that help your body fight off infections.
- Salivary gland: Salivary glands are small organs in and around the mouth that produce saliva to help digestion, swallowing and oral health.
Here are the reading slides.
