Room 19 learners have been busy exploring, creating, and sharing their learning!
In Mathematics, they have been adding fractions with the same denominator, placing improper fractions on number lines, and recognising equivalent fractions. In Writing, learners have been strengthening their sentences by using adverbial phrases and appositives to add detail and interest.
To celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, learners also explored the beautiful art of kōwhaiwhai patterns. They enjoyed creating their own designs while learning about the cultural meaning and importance of these patterns. It was wonderful to see their creativity, enthusiasm, and pride in their learning. Ka pai, Room 19!
