Today and Yesterday I did a create task and it was a dual perspective Bush diary journal thing. Here is what I did… My task was to choose a predator and choose a native bird. For the native bird I chose The Kiwi, and for the predator I chose a Stoat. I enjoyed this task because I like native birds and I love predators as well. Also I love learning about them. I think kiwis are really cute because of how small and fluffy they are. BYE

Dear Diary,
I am Sitting here watching a female kiwi in her den protecting her little chick. I can also see another chick with her Mother in another den. Then I look over in the other corner and I see another kiwi trying to get some food for them in the bushes.
I am sitting here watching a Female Stoat waiting to eat the little kiwi. Stoats, Rats, Possums, Ferrets, and lots of others are predators to the kiwi.
Back to the kiwi…
The Mother Kiwi has found food and now she is taking it back to the little kiwi so she can protect it again from the stoat.
Back to the stoat…
The Stoat has found food for her lunch and is waiting to see if the Mother Kiwi will leave again to eat it. The stoat starts to eat its lunch and then the mother kiwi leaves to get more, but the stoat is not paying attention to them, so the kiwi is safe from the stoat.
