For two weeks in Room 6, we painted and decorated our prayer boxes. On the first day, we made crosses using popsicle sticks and decorated them with jewels in different colours and pom poms. On the second day, we made a prayer dice. On the third day we made holy things out of clay that slowly became hard. We also made prayer leaves. The last one was the prayer cloth which I really enjoyed doing, especially drawing flowers all around it and colouring them in red and yellow. We made a little bag to put the leaves in and we wrote verses from the bible. Then I made a poster asking our parents to pray with me. And finally, we cut up some loving words from God for our prayer box . My favorite one is the prayer cloth and the prayer that I wrote in malayalam words.
This morning I demonstrated how to set up the prayer stuff in front of the class then we went under the canopy and everyone did the same.
Finally, Sister Evalesi and all of Room 2 came to have a look at our beautiful prayer boxes.
