Today I will be blogging my reading create tasks, and a description of the text we are reading this week.
Since halfway through this term, as you probably know, we have been reading, and learning about animal adaption, habitats, endangered species, etc!
This weeks text is called “The challenge to protect wildlife.”
Its basically just about what I said before, reminder: Animal adaption, habitats, and endangered species.
For this week, I completed 2 create tasks, Chilli 1, & Chilli 3.
Create task 1: (Chilli 1.)
For this create task, you could create a WANTED poster for a predator animal, example: Ferret, Rat, Stoat.
I chose a stoat! You also had to label the crime, and last seen.

WANTED!
Wild stoats on the loose definitely alive!
Crime: Killing 12.5 (twelve and a half) piwakawaka per day.
Last seen: Northern Hemisphere, America.
(by the way it wouldn’t tell me its actual habitat.)
Create task 2, (Chilli 3)
For this create task, you had to create a predator free biome for endangered species, you had to include labels, atleast 3 native plants, safe nesting and water areas. And write a 2-3 sentence sign for the entrance to tell visitors on protecting the area.

My sentence is: Our workers check the place daily, making sure the food is there, there are no unexpected predators, and our animals haven’t escaped. We like to include native plants around the area, so the animals feel at home. if the animals have any infections, or are hurt, we take immediate care in our animal clinic.
