A Vulture Documentary

A Vulture Documentary

Made by Cruden

Hello? Hi guys, today I’m doing a beautiful documentary about a bird that lives in the desert. Do you know what that animal is? Yes, it’s a vulture.

Let’s first talk about what a vulture looks like. First of all, the head and half of the neck is just skin. The beak is yellow, and the body is black. Now, for the wings, they are part black, and part white.

Lets now take a look how the vulture hunts. The vulture first finds a target, then stalks it for a couple of hours. Then, when the prey is alone, the vulture goes down, and snatches the prey.

Now that you know what a vulture looks like, and hunts like, let’s now see where it lives. Like I said, they live in the desert. But vultures actually have different types. There are Old World vultures, and New World vultures. In the Old World section, there are 16 vultures. There’s a Cinereous Vulture, Griffon Vulture, Palm nut Vulture, Ruppells Vulture, Indian Vulture, Slender Bills Vulture, White Bocked Vulture, Cope Vulture, Hooded Vulture, Red Headed Vulture(not red headed), Loppet Faced Vulture, White Headed Vulture(that doesn’t have a white head), Bearded Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Himalayan Vulture, and White rump Vulture.

There are six New World Vultures. Would you like me to tell you the names of them? Ahh, I already know you want to. There’s a Black Vulture(which is in fact black for once), Turkey Vulture, Lesser Yellow Headed Vulture(which isn’t yellow), California Condor, Andean Condor, and a King Vulture (Pretty cool name).
