This week, we have been revising recounts which is writing about something we have done in the past.
This is my story.
White Sunday
On Sunday,the day before we had the first day of school for Term 4, we had White Sunday which was kids day. For example,there is Mothers Day and a Fathers Day. Instead of Mothers Day and Fathers day we did kids day. So the people who read the bible everyday at church are only supposed to be adults, and so they made some people read the bible that were kids. Also there were some other families there but were still our cousins. But it was like their last name, we were the Toai family.
We had a theme which was the 1900’s. We also did the colour aqua. When it was our turn,we planned to do a song when we went to the stage. We only sang a song with the big kids and when we finished the big kids went outside because we were dancing separately from the big kids.
Then we performed. After the big kids went to perform and then we little kids went outside watching them. Then we did our play and it was about not hiding your talents. The little kids were the talents and there were three people that were given the talents. One had 5 the other one had 2 then the last one had 1. The one that had 1 tried to hide her talent but there was like a person who played to be a god he found out that she hid her talent so he took it away. Finally we went to my aunties house to eat,play handball,swing in her swings my uncle made,turn on some music, and watch tv. Finally they offered us some cake and we all went home.
