At our camp, we did HEAPS of Kapa Haka. It wasn’t just practicing the same songs over and over again. We played games, learnt a new chant, learnt a new poi, and for the boys a new maurakau routine. When we had our actions and choreography really good, we did a performance. A few parents were crying. I felt very proud.
