Talofa readers,
This Tuesday we had another session of Tupu Maia. The topic was success and the meaning is the good out come of a goal. We were learning how to do different types of kicks. The first kick we learned about was a Grubber kick. To do a grubber kick you have to point the nose to the ground and point your toes like a ballerina to the ground. Then you kick the ball and step forward with the foot you kicked with.
The other way to kick was punt kick. This kick you have to point the nose of the ball up. Face your ballerina foot up and kick and step forward with the foot that you kicked with. That is how you do a punt kick and a grubber kick. We played a game where call tennis kick. Instead of hitting with rackets we had to catch a ball and kick it back. If the ball touched the other teams side your team gets a point. If the other team kicks too low you get a point. This game helped us practice punt kicks.
Here is a picture of us doing kicking:

At the end we worked on our chant we made in the first session. Check out my next blog to see what we learn in the next session.
Bye bye readers, see you soon.
