This week in literacy we have been learning about persuasive writing. persuasive writing is like a thing that is telling you why school should exist and why school should not exist. there is this fun persuading game so we got three different colour mats the best colours are grey pink and baby blue. So the teacher says something like should we have phones at school? then we pick which mat we agree with, the pink mat is in the middle the grey on the right and lastly the baby blue mat on the left. the pink mat is i don’t know yet, the grey mat is I disagree, the baby blue mat is I agree.
If your on the pink mat you sit down in silence and if your on the other mats then you have made a decision. If you sit on the pink mat which is the ‘I don’t know yet’ then the kids on the other mats have to persuade you to make a choice.
