Term 2 Week 10 Creative Writing: Oh What Were They To Do!

All the animals on the boat frantically fought to keep it afloat. They pushed and they shoved, to keep it above the water. “Every man for himself,” The Elephant cried, as he pushed the Monkey aside. The Monkey fell in and so did the Moose. The Tiger slipped and came loose.

Gabby the Goose and Ziggy the Zebra fell in with a sneeze ya. The giraffe yelled “We need to lose weight, let’s dump the heaviest freight.” So the Elephant was pushed back, but then they heard a crack, and the boat was split in two. Oh what were they to do.

They watched the lonely lizard drift off into the blizzard. Only half a ship left, full of animals with bad breath. The lion started to cry “Oh why why.” The gazelle wobbled and fell. The Rhino cried “I can’t swim.” right before falling in. The turtle was a hero, so jumped on the count of zero. “I’ll save you, my Rhino friend.” So he went with the hand he would lend. The animal count was down to five, how were they to survive?

One lion, who’s crying. Two twin turkeys talking (at least they’re not squawking), and last but not least three polar bears, covered in silky hairs. This miss-match herd was as good as done. They hadn’t even had much fun. The blizzard was coming, but they couldn’t do much running! So they sat down to pray, hoping God would save the day.

The lion looked up from his puddle of tears, to see a bright light shining away his fears. The turkeys stopped talking, looked up and started squawking. The polar bears saw it too, they thought the help was long overdue. “Sorry I’m late, are you ready mate?” God asked the bunch. “Of course we’re ready, I’m late for lunch!” Said the Eldest polar bear, eyeing up a Tilapia.

“Well then, hope on board this UFO, they’re the SUVs of Mexico!” So they all hopped on and sang a song, and ended up where they belong.

Creative Writing Week 8 Term 2

Mr Winston the fancy dog was very posh, he had a shiny gold vest which was custom made by Louis Vuitton, and a top hat with emeralds that shimmered in the light. His bark was as  good as Ariana Grande, he had a cane made of diamonds that thudded on the ground when he walked.

His fur would get washed by the president, and his paws would get a manicure by the queen.

Mr Winston would always walk in the park with his golden brown pipe telling kids they need to go run around.

Everyone liked Mr Winston, even the people who lived in hay houses, because Mr Winston would always give them food and blankets.

One day Mr Winston wasn’t feeling well, he wouldn’t go for a walk in the park and he didn’t go and visit the hay house people. The town people started getting worried about him so they decided to go to his house and check on him.

When the town people got there they saw that Mr Winston was in a hospital bed they ran over to him to ask if he was okay, but they didn’t make it in time Mr Winston was gone.

In about an hour there was a town meeting in the little wooden hall. The people were deciding whether or not they should build a statue in the center of town or if they should make a company after his name. The people decided that they will build a statue.

About a year after the statue was finished there was a ceremony and a memorial for the opening of the town center statue.

My Creative Writing

I hope you enjoy my story.

The New Prophet
Festival of The Prophet was a magnificent event to celebrate the day that Monunk the ogre created the cure to heal the Violet Chills, a disease that had riddled the people of Isira Kingdom for decades. Violet chills were a truly horrid disease that would turn your skin into a violet hue and you would get chills for days until finally it took you in a burst of violet light! The festival of the Prophet got its name because after Monunk discovered the cure, he was crowned a prophet, a high rank among the Isira.

Because of all this you would think that a descendant of the great Monunk would love the festival but Fletcher hated the festival and hated the way that the capital city, Charveil turned into a bright display of jars filled with weird colourful powder. Fletcher hated that when he stepped foot outside his little shack of house all he was reminded about was his horrid father, and even though he hated it, he got up out of bed every morning and worked to protect his own father, the person he hated most in the world, as a royal guard.

Today was a morning like no other however because Fletcher had received a mysterious letter from the High Prince Damien to meet at the empire pub which was a dirty tavern in the middle of the slums where Fletch lived. It was odd because Damien was sure to be noticed in an inn that was popular among bandits. When Fletch arrived he was escorted by royal guards in disguise upstairs into a small loft where the High Prince was waiting in a plush leather armchair. He stood when Fletcher and the guards walked in, Fletcher bowed low to the ground.

“Hello Fletcher.” Said Damien as Fletcher rose from his bow.
Hello High Prince Damien.” Fletch replied as the guards left the room closing the door,
“Please none of those formal titles, Damien is fine, Now I have a deal for you about your father, Monunk The Prophet.” Damien said as he poured tea, “Would you like some tea, or coffee?” He asked, Fletcher wondered what kind of deal Damien could possibly want with him about his father.
Fletcher told Damien “Tea would be lovely, but I must ask what kind of deal you would possibly want with me? Monunk is my father but I’ve never even spoken to him.”

“That’s exactly why I chose you Fletcher, you will ask for an audience with him, I will make sure that’s granted, the you will announce to him that you are his son-”
Fletcher cut the Prince off to say “But that’s the thing he already knows that I’m his son, he disowned me when my mother died, left me at an orphanage, and told me never to reach out to him again.” Fletcher said all this in a very sombre tone as he watched Damien’s face drop.
“Oh, well that was not something I had taken into account, we will have to shift our plans a bit, but this should still work.” said Damien with a desperate hope in his eyes.
Fletcher was curious as to what the prince really wanted so he asked,
“What is it that you want with me, I mean you’re the high prince soon to become King, you can have literally anything and yet you seem to need this desperately, like your life depends on it.”
“Thats the thing, My life does depend on it, before every prince or princess becomes a ruler they most complete a grand challenge set by the ruler before them, if they do not complete, they get exiled which in my eyes is basically death!” said the prince with worry in his voice.
“Well what’s your grand challenge?” Asked Fletch.
“To steal your fathers antidote for the violet chills,” Damien replied.
But why would you do that, it’s the one thing he made!” exclaimed Fletcher, “although I suppose he sells it for a very high price, an unfair price some would say.” He wondered out loud. Damien took a sip of his tea and he looked at Fletcher thinking to himself a new crafty plan.
“I think I know how to complete my challenge, you will become his personal guard, follow him wherever he goes, collecting information about the whereabouts of his stock of the cure, then when we know where it is I shall complete a raid of his warehouse where he keeps it  during next year’s festival of the prophet when he is most distracted. If you agree I’ll make you a prophet, and grant a wish from me when I become king, although it must be within my power to complete, and that is my deal for you Fletcher” Said Damien with a smug smile.
“That sounds like a good deal to me, Prince,” replied Fletcher.

To Be Continued… (maybe)

Thump. Thump.

The ground shook under the weight of the gigantic titan. The size of the titan defied physics when it had waded through the deepest, darkest parts of the ocean, the deep waters only reached its waist. It was a creature built from the ground up of 1000s of years of work, a walking hunk of rusty gears and flickering lights , and large smokestacks. As it approached the shore, the sea spilled everywhere creating a tsunami from its rusty-plated shoulders. Its back was a chaotic sprawl of factories, heavy pipes, scaffolding that towered above the clouds. A metallic grin was etched into its massive head, its eyes glowing faintly with the heat of the furnaces within its chest. But the earth was not meant to bear such a weight. As the titan pulled itself from the safety of the sea, the ground groaned. Gravity, a powerful force that was suppressed by the ocean, now became a huge problem. On land the titan was forced to crawl. It could not stand; its own gigantic mass would have destroyed its rusty legs and driven its feet straight the earth. Instead, it dragged itself forward on its hands and knees, Its rusted fingers each the size of a mountain range Gouged deep, canyons into the soil. With every, movement, millions of tons of earth were moved. Black smoke poured from the hundreds of chimneys on its back, clouding the sky in a darkness, as the mechanical beast continued its slow, crawl across the world. On top of the titan you wouldn`t even notice you where on a titan you would just think it was a normal planet. Every step was an earthquake for the people above but time moved slower there. An earthquake would only happen about every year in the people aboves time. They were known as the people above because of course they lived on a tall titan and they were very smart.

Creative Writing Term 2 Week 7-8

A Tail Of Greed

Sir Barks-a-lot was a wealthy dog. He lived a life of bliss. Full of glistening chandeliers, cakes ten stories high, a barrel full of many beers, twenty meals of kai. He held a cane, and a top notch brain firmly in his head. The pooches’ bark was as good as Rhianna, and his moves as slick as Madonna. His vest was from the Gucci collection, and his hat from Chanel was a custom invention. His fur was groomed and cut by the hour, his tail wagged with controlled power.

He was owned by the king, of Beijing. The king was old (unlike his dog) and he was very close to death. He left his large fortune to Beth, his daughter. Didn’t even think about his trusty sock sorter. Barks-a-lot was peeved, so he hid a paper in the King’s sleeve.

‘Beth didn’t even come for Christmas’ thought Barks as he went to do his business.

The paper was from Beth, informing the King of her engagement to Lethe, a man in which the king hated to death.

The King found the paper, and believed it straight away. He wouldn’t have thought for a minute his dachshund had a say. That’s why she wasn’t there on our merry holiday, the King thought.

Barks wandered into the King’s room, a gloomy, sorrowful shadow turned his head, Barks could immediately see the tears rolling down his cheeks, and dripping onto his bed. No, what have I done? Barks thought.

‘It’s no use, Beth’s my only heir, I may as well give it to Cousin Donald, I’ll die in despair.’ Sighed the King, smiling a little. Barks jumped onto the bed and snuggled in, he’d been so selfish, the King dying wasn’t a win. Good dogs don’t want their owners dead, whimpered Barks, his eyes turning red.

‘Your not a bad dog’ said the King, ‘You just did a bad thing’. What, how does he know!

Barks squawked like a crow. The old man had seen right through his plan! ‘I think Barks-a-lot forgot, about the bell the size of a dollar attached to his collar’ chucked the King. Oh No! Am I gonna have to sleep in a kennel like a farm animal, any chance of not becoming a cannibal worried Barks.

Without knowing Barks and King had an in-depth conversation, and together they decided that Beth should lead the nation. The King no longer cared for money and gold, he only wanted to cuddle and hold Barks.

Till the last second Barks and the King were together. Neither of them ever felt better. They cared for each other when under the weather. So when the time came for the King to kick the bucket, Barks was there holding his Muckets.

Epilogue:

Together a pair, together as one, until the end has begun. Barks and King, shoe and sock, every tear a pure drop. Barks will live on, when the King is gone, and when the time comes, they’ll meet again, reunited in heaven.

Ding went the oven, “Ohh my chocolate cakes are ready” sang grandma Aisling

“Huh what’s that smell?”  questioned Betty, skipping in the forest. Betty decided to follow the smell.

She tipped toed out of the forest and into the vege patch.

Then into the flower garden.

Then finally she smelt the most delicious smelling thing she has ever smelt in her whole life. Betty looked around trying to find the smell, but then when she looked back she saw a rainbow castle full of lollies and cake. “WOW!”  exclaimed Betty

“Huh what was that noise?”  Questioned Grandma Ailsing.

“I think I will go in and check it out,”  Betty whispered to herself. Betty walked to the doorway and knocked on the door, “Hello is anyone there?”  Betty shouted

“Huh who’s there, no one has ever stepped foot here in five years”  Grandma Aisling said scarcely. As Aisling tipped toed to the door wondering who was there.

When she got to the door she looked through the peep hole and saw a little girl with fiery orange hair. When Grandma Aisling opened the door she asked “ What is the need for you to be here?”

“ Ummm I just smelt a really yummy smell and decided to follow it, and it led me here”  Betty replied.

“Ohhh yes, those are my chocolate cakes, would you like to try some?”  Offered Grandma Aisling.

“Umm I really shouldn’t”  Denied Betty.

“Ohhh come on don’t worry I’m not going to kidnap you, if that’s what you’re worried about?”  Said Grandma Aisling.

“ Well okay then”  Agreed Betty. As Betty walked into the house she saw candies, icing, muffins, and cakes. “Wow you have a great house” exclaimed Betty.

“Well thank you”  Thanked Grandma Aisling

“Here are the cakes, take whatever one you want”  Said Grandma Aisling.

“OMG thank you so much!” Shouted Betty. As Betty took one of her favourite cakes she smiled at Grandma Aisling and said “Goodbye thank you so much, I hope you have an amazing day”  Betty said nicely.

“Goodbye,”  replied Grandma Aisling. Betty trotted of back to her house happy like a butterfly.

It was a windy day.

When Little-Red went to play.

He walked to the park.

When the wind spilled the Bark.

Little-Red decided it was time to go home.

Nearly got hit by a flying gnome.

Flew right past him.

And hit old Janice.

She then intended for malice.

Little-Red hung onto a sign.

Then narrowly dodged a flying pine.

Nearly got hit by a wreath.

Missed it by the skin of his teeth.

Using parkour he leaped.

The wind blowing at his cheeks.

The Ice Cream van!

He jumped on top.

And rolled off at his stop.

“One Hokey Pokey Please.”

Squeaked Little-Red.

Then he ran off home, to his little red bed.

He went to sleep to rest his head.

This was a big day for Little-Red.

No Picture today, It wasn’t working.
