For writing we have been doing lots of work about “Reading like a writer and Writing like a reader”.  This has meant that we have been working hard to find things when we read that will help us when we are writing.

We used an example of a great beginning and a template that Mrs G shared with us to create a  wonderful  beginning for ourselves.  Here is my example.

This term we have been busy writing speeches.  We were using persuasive writing to help us structure our work.  We used the OREO saying to help us remember this structure.
