THIS week, we have been reading a book called I Am Jellyfish, written by Ruth Paul, and our learning intention was to

explore new vocabulary, and we used two coffee cleaners: the base and the outside of our jellyfish

We used fouttips, and to make our drawing staticley, we had to spray water to combine the beautiful dazzling colours

After that, we had to use some scrap paper to do our tentacles; it was really hard, and we learnt new vocabulary. Now here is my writing

THE FATHOMLESS BLUE

I drifted effortlessly in the smooth current. Swoosh, a shadow zoomed past me. I pulled out my stinging tentacles,

ready to fight. My harpoon darts let out a shock, but my transparent, bell-shaped body was impossible to be seen in the sparkling water up top. In the fathomless depths, the creature soared right past me, then I  let out another sting and killed the creature

Last week, my class shared a book called I Am Jellyfish by Ruth Paul.

In the bottomless blue, I glide slowly. My long tentacles hang down from my soft jelly belly.

They are my weapons to shoot stinging darts when I feel danger.

Last week, we shared a book called I Am A Jellyfish, illustrated by Ruth Paul.

Our learning intention was to find new vocabulary and rhyming words. My favourite word was fathom.

First, we had to use coffee 2 flitters; then we had to color in with felt tips. We had to put on 4 crepe tentacles on both sides of our jellyfish so we could show our tentacles on our jellyfish.  Then we had to put our eyes on our jellyfish so it could stand out, so we could put them on our wall.

My favorite part was when we decorated our jellyfish.

Our learning intention was to explore new vocabulary and use it to make our writing more interesting and descriptive.  Here is my descriptive paragraph.

The Deep Sea

I drift passively through pulling currents. My slippery tendrils squish inside my soft jelly bell.

Suddenly, a dark shadow swooshes past me. My trailing tendrils sense danger, so I shoot a sting. I slowly glide away in the deep blue.

This week, I have been doing a slide on Google Slides about my made-up introduction, and it is in maori with images. It is about me and my family going to the shop and buying some toys, and we went in a van.

Last week our class have been discovering about a app could classbank when we be good we get some money.

We have boneses witch is matmanners,on task,being good.

And we have fines for when we be nottey we have , like ,leaving our cloes around,and bluerting.
