recently for maths we started learning about tessellations with our teacher Fi. since we were learning about tessellations we got to make our own tessellations and this is mine, I had lots of fun making this.

This week for math we had to make a tessellation on Google draw. We got to choose what shape to do,and I did lots of fish.

Have you ever made a tessellation?

Recently, the group of year 6s have been working on their very own tessellation pattern for math. I decided to use triangles to create the pattern above. It shows a checkered themed pattern with pairs of triangles being deep pink and brown, while the other pairs have a lighter pink and soft beige.

A tessellation is a pattern of one or more geometric shapes grouped together, leaving no negative space in between.

This week our class has been working on making tessallations, I made mine on Google draw. I chose to use triangles and shape them into white diamonds. After I finished adding the shapes, I removed the boarders and colored all the triangles and the background. I decided to use red and white to really make the colors pop! Which colors and shapes would you use?

When I was making this I told my self that my eyes are burning up and this was not to hard but I enjoyed it.

Today we were making tessellations for math and I made one where if you look from different angles it likes your looking up or down stairs

For Cybersmart we made Drip Art on Google draw.My one looked like paint splatter mark.It is hard to make the Drip  Art, Because we used a Curve line to make and a gradient background. Have you made Drip Art?

For cyber-smart we did drip art inspired by Jen Stark. We used the cured tool on Google drawing and made smaller ones to cover most of the one behind it the one I did was gradient.  Have you heard of Jen Stark?

For Cybersmart we made drip art on google draw by using the curve tool. My Drip Art has a range of bright colors and a gradient background. The hardest part of making this art was making the drips not look like fingers and making sure you add different colors than the background because they would blend in. I personally don’t like my art because it’s all over the place. Have you ever made art on google draw with the curve tool?

This drawing is a map of my holiday.

First I went to New Brighton hot pools because some nice lady from church gave us a voucher to the new Brighton hot pools and my step sisters and brother were there and they came down from Oamaro. Next on Sunday we went to my church which is QE2 life church we learnt how David defeated Golliath. Then we went to New Brighton beach we went because it very hot.

For Cybersmart we learnt about Smart media. We helped John make a project about kiwis.

This is a map of my holiday during the holidays my Aunty and cousins came up so we did a lot like new pools,ninja valley,Margret Mayhe and sumner beach I also went to my friend’s house at her house we went op shopping,made a terrain and got ice-cream it was so fun.
