Hello everyone, in Wananga, we have been working on our personal culture and identity. We can pick any presentation we can present to people. Here is the poster that I made and also the meaning of why I could have put the pictures.

This image is about the country where I’m born in. The quote that I made “Salamat sa ating mga bayani na tayo at buhay at malaya” means that I’m thankful for the people who stand up and also protected our land (which I considered heroes who protected our people, country, and our land). The accurate translation is “thanks to our heroes we are still alive and free”.
The people that are standing on the mountain represent the man, woman or gender of their own, who stand up bravely for our country to save the land and people. The mountains represent the beautiful mountains that are in the Philippines. The 8 rays of the sun represent the provinces that led the uprising against Spanish rule. The 3 stars are the 3 islands in the Philippines which are Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The hands at the bottom of the poster are the people who are proudly representing the culture and identity of Filipinos or the people of the Philippines. The background is the colour of the Philippines flag, the clouds, the sun and stars make it look like the Philippines flag. I chose the colour base on our flag but I limited the use of the same colour so it wouldn’t be the same colours every time.
This connects with my personal identity because I myself am proud to be a Filipino and to be born in the Philippines. The Filipino heroes are one of my role models because of how they protected the land and the people in the Philippines which I relate to because I myself also want to protect the people I love.
