 Last term for inquiry we were focusing on kaitiankitanga of our space. Were assigned to clean the path of the sandpit. I made a poster about clearing the pathway!

I enjoyed thinking about my questions.
I found it challenging to find the questions.
Next time I would change the way I presented it.
Picture of August’s New Hearing Aids
Our teacher is reading us a book called Wonder. August just got new hearing aids that look like head phones. I enjoyed drawing the picture. Next time I would colour in the picture.
Making Graphs
I made a bar graph about diffenernt colours.
First I made a bar graph on my book.
Next I wrote down my categories one the bottom line.
Lastly I wrote down the numbers on the side line to see how many people voted for that colour.
I did well on writing down the graph. I need to improve on making more graphs.

Hydro-electric power is important for New Zealand for heaps of reasons first up it provides us power to towns and city’s, it can also be good I guess to stop floods as well, but dams are good for New Zealand cause if you don’t know we have heaps of lakes in the south island. Dams could cost alot it could probably cost millions of dollars and take years to make a dam, but its worth it to provide us with power. Dams need to use a little bit of fossil fuel to run the dam. As the days go by people might be building a dam right now you never know, but dams are good for power and are probably the best.

Why is hydro-electric power so important to New Zealand?
Today we have been learning about why hydro-electric power is so important, I think that it is important because we don’t have to use much fossil fuels and the dams can help us gain a lot of power for NZ. I think that it will be good because using fossil fuels is bad for NZ and hydro-electric power is much much better for NZ. Hydro-electric power comes from water and nature. Hydro-electric power provides a huge amount of electricity for us to use and that is a good thing.

Hi there,
today we will be talking about Hydro electricity in NZ I have a queston, that will be the main part in this blog post the question is : Why is hydro-electric power so important to New Zealand? I will start off by answering the question. Hyrdo-electric power is important to New Zealand because it is sustainable and is a cheaper option for NZ, and also since we already have Dams built. It can also have a good result for the future. I will now explain task 1 and task 2.
Task 1: Definition of hydro-electricity. for task 1 we wrote a definition on hydro power, for the definition the 2 classes ( JMC & JMA ) worked on it together. The definition is : Hyro-electricity energy is from water that passes through a turbine and generates electricity.
Task 2 : Drawing for task 2 all we had to do was draw a picture of how the water would be turned into electricity. This is what we were meant to draw: LINK and here is what a drew: 
Writing Challenge #2 – Literacy
On a cosy night, I was peacefully walking through New York City. When suddenly a big shadow from on-top of a building was blocking the light. As I looked up, I was in shock to see an elegant gorilla wearing a bright and cute pink tutu. “ RUN, THAT GORILLA IS GOING TO ATTACK ! ’’ the man across the street said , running away . I was too relaxed to run, so I went to make friends with him. Later that evening, the gorilla and I had a delicious meal from one of the downtown food stores.

Why is Hydro-Electric power so important in NZ
Hydro-Electric power is really important for NZ. Because in NZ we have a growing countries and we have a lot of extra water that we were not using so somebody made a dam witch uses water as power. It powers a tonne load of houses and powers buildings and lots of other stuff. It costs money but it stops flooding, Dams are already being built, It has sustainable power, Water is natural and it just comes by its self.
