An idea that could improve my workflow that we covered today was creating posters with QR codes which students can scan and be taken to a video demonstrating the next steps.
I created a very simple doc for this for Outdoor Skills which I am running at LIS this term.
I do find that informative videos tend to hold students’ attention for longer and it gives them the ability to review and pause for any parts they’re unsure about.
While Google docs wouldn’t be my first choice for creating these resources, it is handy to know that Google docs is capable of creating them.
