Andrew Chinn – blog post

1/3/24

This week on 29 Feb Andrew Chinn came to visit us at our school (St.Francis Of Assisi Catholic school) and it’s also a LEAP YEAR!

Every four years here comes leap year AND you’ve got one EXTRA day in February. There’s normally 28 days in February but when it’s leap year there’s 29 days in February.

Andrew Chinn is from Australia woolengong. He’s a Religious education musician and we sing a lot of his songs most of the time in mass. Here are some of his songs that he sang there called: Light the way, The rainbow song, These hands and rise up. He taught us new songs that he made and songs that we’ve never heard of before.

It was so much fun singing and dancing along to the songs we played with Andrew Chinn. The dances were cool and fun to do as well. He did a concert with us (really cool!) My Favorite part of the concert was the song called ‘’rainbow song’’ it’s my favorite song in the concert because when he sang it you got to go up with him and hold the coloured rainbowed fabric there’s two of each color and each time he calls out the color name you have to hold it out.

  • How many songs have you (Andrew Chinn) Written in these past years?
  • What’s your newest song you made?
