Kumarahou
Last term we were studying rongoa. We all got a rongoa for each group we go kumarahou. And this is what we found out about it. The family name is Rhamnaceae. Its scientific name is Pomaderris. You can find Kumarahou on the side of the road or in some clay.
Kumarahou is well used for sore throats, asthma, menstrual pain, liver cleansing and cough.
The yellow flowers on kumarahou can be used as soap and you can not eat them so when you boil it take the flowers off.
