On Friday last week, we played ” Drawing in pairs ”. The way in which you play the game is to get a partner and set to chairs facing the backs of both the chairs. Either you or your partner takes a blank piece of paper. The other partner receives a paper with a drawing on it. You are instructed to describe the picture so that the person your facing your back to follows your instruction. You are to try your best with the specific details and your drawing. The areas of hauora that were affected by participating in drawing in pairs were your taha whanau. My taha whanau was impacted positively because I got a chance to properly interact with my buddy properly. We really had to communicate well with each other so the drawer could understand our perspective. The strategy you had to use was to listen carefully and to pay attention to the person speaking. Sometimes when playing the game, it can be somewhat fair and unfair because maybe the person describing the picture is not being specific more. Although, in the game I played with my buddy it was funny how clear her instructions were but I could not understand! I fully participated in this game because we both took turns to describe the picture and the drawing.
