Sà-wàt-dii khâ Everyone!!
For today’s adventure, I’m diving into activity fifteen from the Spring Learning Journey (SPLJ)
and the challenge is super cool
. I had to create a blog post all about Kate Sheppard! I got to explore who she is, why she’s such an important person in New Zealand history
, and of course, why she’s on the $10 note
. I learned so much about her courage
, determination
, and how she used her voice to make a positive difference in the world
.
One thing that really surprised me
was how brave and determined she was, even when lots of people didn’t agree with her
. I love how she fought for what is right
, not just for herself but all women in New Zealand. It made me think
about how using your voice can actually change things
like, wow, one person can make a huge difference!
I found this activity fun and interesting because I learnt so much about Kate Sheppard and has definitely taught me so much about how I can fight for what is right, for not only me
but for everyone else who feels the same way I do
.
