Tuesday 12/5/2026 On thursday the 7 of may the Y9 cohort all piled on to two buses and
Travelled to two places. My group went to Waitangi and Russell it was one of the best trips I have been on for school so far. My group had two classes which were Totara and Kowhai.
The group was amazing, the people were nice and we had a great time together.
The sites we saw were breathtaking and stunning, especially the view of Russell from the flag pole. While we were at Russell we went to the church with the bullet holes we also tried to look for the oldest headstone.
Another site we went to was the Waitangi Treaty grounds. We got a grand tour of the treaty grounds. We also visited the museum they had and man it was so cool we learned heaps of information. We got to see Ngatokimatawhaorua and Matatua. We also got to go in Te Tii marae and that’s all we did.
