Pepeketua – New Zealand frogs

My Haiku Poem about Frogs:
Three Species of frogs.
Tiny jumpy new froglets.
Eating flies for lunch.

This term we learned about different kinds of frogs – one was Archey’s  frog, Hamilton’s Frog and also Hochstetter’s frog. The Hochstetter’s frog was found in someone’s garden where these frogs were born when the dinosaurs were here on planet earth.  Also these frogs haven’t changed in so many years. When they hatch they are so tiny they are like the size of a coin.
