Task description: I have done another blog on the same exact book, though this time I have forgotten to turn this blog and my last blog into DLO’s. Though I will try to make a DLO for my future blog posts to clearly showcase what I have learned from reading this text.
In my last blog, I have done a summary of page 5 of this book. We have only read page 5 due to the fact that our teacher only told me and my group to read page 5. Despite having a summary already on a separate document our teacher asked us to analyse the text and find out how the Mau organisation affected the people.
By saying ” the people” I mean the parties of native Samoans and the NZ/ European ministry and administration. They all had their problems ; the NZ ministry wanted to keep control over the country, while the Samoans wanted independence for their country.
I have done a detailed explanation of this in the document below, I have tried my best to explain my thoughts clearly and have added a short recap on what the Mau movement wants and what they do. I hope it makes some sense as my thoughts seemed to have been in havoc with my many ideas. I hope to make a DLO for my next reading blog.
