Last week it was Tongan language week and we learned how to make a Ngatu- Tapa Cloth. I enjoyed looking for different Tongan patterns and then drawing them onto the brown paper. It was fun.
These are the instructions:
Materials
– brown paper.
-pencil and ruler.
-Black,brown permanent markers.
-Earth-toned felts.
Procedure:
1.Crumple the paper into a tight ball.
2.Fold the paper into four squares.
3.Use your ruler and pencil to make patterns and the background too.
- Colour patterns with brown and black markers.
