26. Steam Father’s Day

26. Steam Happy Father’s Day

On Monday, we celebrated Father’s Day with our dads, mums, papas, or other loved ones. My dad said he loved what I made for him, and my mum was so proud of me. It was amazing to see my dad so happy! It was so awesome to connect our Father’s Day celebration with our learning about hydroponics and soil! I learned so much about how plants grow differently in nutrient-rich water compared to natural soil, and sharing all these cool new ideas with my family made the day even more special and memorable.

Afterward, we took notes on page 2 for our hydroponics and soil topic. We learned that hydroponics is a method of growing plants in water enriched with minerals, which can help them grow faster, while soil is a complex, living mixture of minerals, organic matter, air, and water. We are excited to continue tracking our seed experiment on the windowsill, where the sunlight will hopefully help them thrive over the coming weeks.

On behalf of Rooms 9 and 10, we would like to thank you for spending time with us and for appreciating our work.

Nag mihi Shanah,
