This week my class and Room 1 have been trying out Scribo. Specifically, the Scribo Skill Builder. It helps you with some writing skills so you can get better. The task I tried out was “Writing the First Sentences of a Paragraph”. The little circle guy, Claro, teaches you how to do the task, shows you some examples, then it tells you to do it independently. When you’re finished, Claro gives you an overall score, gives you points, and tells you how you could improve, along with a better version of your work. In each task, there are about 4 examples. If you finish all of the examples, you get your final score. Your final score could be Emerging, Developing, Consolidating, Proficient, and Exceeding!
