Current is the speed of the electrons moving in the electricity and the voltage is the push of the electrons inside the electricity.
Why is the Bulb in the Series Circuit Dimmer
The brightness of a bulb depends on the voltage, the higher the voltage the brighter the light from the bulb. In a series circuit the voltage splits which results in a dimmer light splitting the brightness into each bulb in its path. In parallel circuits each bulb get’s its equal amount which means that each bulb in a parallel circuit will have equal brightness. The voltage has multiple pathways in a parallel compared to the single pathway in a series which requires the voltage be split equally. As for current, current stays the same throughout the whole series circuit but in a parallel circuit the current is split into the pathways and joins back together afterwards.
