Create task 1: Introduced pest “wanted ” poster ( visual& imformation synthesis 24.9.2026
Hi bloggers! Welcome back to my blog this week!
This week’s text is called The challenge to protect native wildlife! It is about how the communities (DOC) are trying to help the native birds from getting extinct by the introduced predators.
If you don’t know what an introduced predator is, it is the animals that were brought to NZ years ago that killed all the native birds wildlife. DOC is trying to get rid of Stoats, Rats.
Possums,Ferrels,Weasels and other introduced predators by the year 2050. (Which is interesting..)
The 1080 bait is to get rid of the introduced predators by putting poison in the food, but people got mad because that killed their pets.(Like dogs.)
Anyways for the create tasks I had to make an “wanted” poster about an introduced predator.(I chose stoats because they are cute.)
And I had to use the “Required elements” to write about the crime, features,and where it was last seen. I even made a title for the stoat.(Which is “<span data-buffer="“>Enemy of the forest”Evil stoats.)
<span data-buffer="“> This create task was kind of challenging for me because I didn’t know how to do good details about the wanted poster,but I really enjoyed it so I will give this create task a 7/10.(That’s pretty high
)

<span data-buffer="“>Knowing this knowledge, I would hope by the year 2050 introduced predators will be eradicated.

Create task 2:Dual perspective bush journal ( creative narrative & point of view.) 25.9.2026

Today for reading create tasks I had to make a diary entry using the perspective of the native birds nesting their eggs and the introduced predators looking for food.
I had to make a copy of a Google doc and write 2 entries in one page.
The first one was the Native birds and the second one was the Introduced predators.
I wrote the same date as today because I just felt like it.
I tried my best to do a lot of detail in my writing but I kinda failed….
Anyways, I will rate this create task a 4/10 (mid)
This create task was challenging for me because I’m not really good at writing for someone’s perspective so I was kind of suffering.
After doing this create task I kind of understood how scary it was for the native birds
. I would really like to support DOC to help the native birds.
