For this week’s first reading create task, I decided to design an animal sanctuary specifically for our native birds. Our reading text for the week is called “The challenge to protect native wildlife.” It was packed with interesting facts explaining why it is so crucial to protect our local ecosystems, the different predators that threaten our birds every day, and it introduced us the work done by DOC (Department of Conservation). It also highlighted the unique characteristics of several native birds. I chose this create task because I thought it would be a fun, creative challenge and I was definitely right! I used Adobe Express to build my sanctuary design, which allowed me to experiment with different layouts and visuals to make it look realistic. Without further ado, here is my first create task:

Reading create task 2:
for my second create task I chose to create a wanted poster ( on Adoby again ) for New Zealand’s introduced predator THE POSSEM!!! Personally I think they are kind of cute but don’t judge them by that because they are menaces when it comes to destorying ( or eating ) plants.
