Fascinating Colour Run!

On the last day of term 3, the WHOLE SCHOOL got involved in the super fun colour run! Usually every year we have a fun filled day of fun activities, and at the end we run through a space where all the adults spray chalk paint on you! My favourite part of the activities was the obstacle course. But of course my favourite part of the whole thing was the colour run. Here are some of my photos. What’s your favourite colour?

Kiwi Post

Yesterday we did a cyber-smart challenge about smart searching and we learnt about kiwis It was really fun. We met this fake guy named John I found out a lot about kiwis, and that they were a secret government experiment, there are also fewer than 10 white kiwis in the world and they are not albino. Do you like my post? What do you know about kiwis and safe searching? Which one of these do you think are fake?

Digital Art Time!

This week for our Cybersmart Challenge we were making Digital Drip art with the curve tool! For my reflection this week I would say that I didn’t do so well. Because I had Kapa Haka I did not get too much time on this project so I didn’t do the fancy kind of drip art. I did the easy one, the gradient! But for the time I had I say did well, it is just not my best work. If I had to pick something to improve on then I would say I need to work on my corners on the drip art. Here is my Drip Art!

Drip Art !

15th October 2026

For cybersmart this week we have been doing drip art on google draw! Jen Stark is a famous artist known for her drip art, I’ll put a link in at the end, our art was inspired by her. Anyways I had a conversation with my friends at my table about the colour patterns in the drip art and the colours that were being used. The first thing we did was outline our drips using the curve tool, we then made the ends connect and filled them in with colours and added multiple layers. We got the choice to choose a gradient or shadow inspired art, I choose the shadow because it looks more fun and creative in my eyes! I didn’t learn to use a new tool but it was still very fun. Have you ever seen drip art before? If not I suggest looking at Jen Stark´s work, it is incredible.

Here is my drip art!!

We were all inspired by Jen Stark who lives in Florida and makes all kinds of stuff. I think it was pretty fun and everyone else enjoy it too. I think mine was kinda average and maybe could have done better with more time. The hardest part was doing the multiple colours. I did not learn too much except about Jen Stark today.   Here is my work………..

Did you know who Jen Stark was before this?

It is about a school netball team that has both girls and boys and the issue is that boys can play netball too but some people disagree… For an activity we had to do a character analysis, you had to have chosen 4 characters and write about their POV and the reason why. Have you ever done a character analysis?
