Mason Persuade plan Children have to go to school on their birthday!

Children have to go to school on their birthday!

Introduction – What you are wanting the reader to know, hook them in with your most convincing sentence! Include brief details of your 3 main arguments.

First convincing idea. With 2-3 bullet points which will convince

the reader, this is where you put in examples, evidence, statistics!

Idea – It’s to celebrate when you were born and is a special event.

  • It’s only once a year and what could hurt off 1 day off school.
  • Some people have birthdays on weekends so some people don’t go anyway.
  • It is to celebrate how old we are.

Second convincing idea.

Idea – Family is more important than school.

  • On your birthday you want to go and do something with your whanau like going to Christchurch.
  • It’s good to go out and do something like fishing or something.
  • You won’t be able to see your family [eg. if they are somewhere far]

Third convincing idea.

Idea – If you go to school on your birthday you don’t have much fun.

  • Birthdays aren’t about work, it’s about having fun.
  • You should not work on your b day.
  • You go to school basically every single day.

Conclusion – Sum up your main argument! (1 jam packed sentence! Re-state your belief and briefly mention your 3 main arguments in a DIFFERENT way.)

Children shot not go to school on their B-day.

We shot not go to school on our b-day. If we go to school on b-day we can get stressed.
