Bubble Poem

This is my bubble art I did a poem too.

First we had to make a poem next we got a straw and and we put the end in the mixer and we had to blow soft and then we had to put our paper on the bubbles and if you want to make it put  dishwashing liquid and dye.

Bubbles

shimmering gliding bubbles

Dancing floating bubbles

levitating high in the sky

The crusty frog foot deluxe.

for the last couple of weeks my group has been making a disgusting sandwich. Becky is copy it for us. We yose a Google doc to make the recipiy. this is my recipiey.

                           The crusty frog foot deluxe

Are you bored of lame fish and chips or old banana bread? Wait, you are? Well step right up for the most revolting meal of your life. It’s packed with squishy toe jam and disgusting toe nails only the bravest garbage guts would dare to take a bite. Are you one of them?

Ingredients

  • 2 slabs of stale moldy  old bread soaked in salty water.
  • 1 touch of soggy wet chunky toe jam.
  • 2 handfuls of painful yellow crunchy sand paper.
  • 5 bucketfuls of green crusty frog feet
  • 3 pinches of smelly boogers.
  • 7 drops of sloppy ear wax.
  • 3 bucketfuls Crunchy orange  toe nails.
  • 1 sprinkle of mushy oozy stinky raw eggs.
  • 12 drops of browning banana skin.
  • 4 drizzles of ugly crushed up old dog bones.
  • 7 handfuls of yucky stinking dirty snake scales.
  • 2 sprinkles of smelly dead busy bees.
  • A bucket of squishy worms.
  •  Some yuck slime soup.
  •   Some Old stinking beetles.

Method

  1. First grab 2 old slabs of stale out dated bread and slap it on the side of  a rusty chopping board so it makes a giant BANG!!!
  2. Then grab the old rusty chopping board with the bread and soak the bread  in yucky salty water.
  3. Next dump oozy slime with squishy worms into a crooked old pot and wait till the squishy worms and the yucky slime boils.
  4. Grab a slab of the disgusting slime soup out of  the crooked pot with a wooden spoon and slap it on to the stale out dated bread
  5. Spread it evenly. Then rip up some sand paper, spread it on the disgusting bread and make sure you can’t see any blank spots of the bread
  6. Add a crusty bucket full of some more squishy worms and then add some crunchy beetles with a side of dead buzzy bees and scatter them directly across the center of the stack of disgustingness.
  7. Grab some sloppy toe jam and drizzle it on with a side of wet  lumpy ear wax to top it off.
  8. Grab a couple handfuls of yuck dead old dirty snake scales with a side of smelly banana skin and some smelly old boogers and drizzle them down the bread of course you can’t see the bread any more so down the sandwich.
  9. Then grab a handful of mushy old dog bones  with a side of stinking old raw eggs and scatter them on the sandwich.
  10. Then grab some crunchy old toenails and scatter the toenails nails all across the center of the bread.
  11.  Finally grab some old crusty frog feet and scatter them  making  sure there are some sticking out of the bread.

And that’s it, you’ve completed your sandwich so enjoy, but there’s a big chance you won’t.

Warning: Try not to eat too much or you won’t want to come to this restaurant  again.

Keep a bucket ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHANGAIA TE KURI RAUA KO NGERU

Kia ora,

Ko Micah toku ingoa,

Ko ata hapara toku akumanga.

Today I did two slideshows about how to feed dogs and cats.

Firstly we sat down and like before she talked about how to feed cats.

We didn’t do dogs because she didn’t tell us to do it yet.

After we had to stand up, this time I didn’t stand up first.

It was quite hard for us, luckily she helped us.

After that we had to write them in our books.

My friend and me finished first and then we had to write them on Google slides.

We had to mote, images, background, translate and write it down in the slides we were doing.

And then when we were finished, we had write one down for a dog!

It was unlucky but because that we finished we just did it.

When we were finished we had to do this blog.

Exploring the World of Kupe and Te Wheke 🌊

As part of our Inquiry learning, we have been learning all about Kupe and Te Wheke and their incredible journeys as explorers.

We have been discovering what life was like for early Māori explorers and learning about the important role that the waka hourua played in their journeys across the ocean.

To bring our learning to life, we designed and built our very own waka! We had to think carefully about our designs, the materials we would use, and how we could make our waka strong and seaworthy.

We are so proud of what we created and loved having the opportunity to be explorers and engineers ourselves.

Check out our amazing waka creations! 🚣‍♀️🌊

We have been learning about navigation for Inquiry and  how pasifika people found different islands.

Everybody made a model waka my waka was made out of  bolster wood, PVA glue, flax, tooth picks, brown dye, beads and flax sticks.

Everybody floated their wakas in the school pool some floated some sank my waka floated and the wind caught on the sale then squished some ones.

Next time I want to make mine bigger and better by

The special feature I like was the basics of fruit and the patterns on the side.

This Week I Learned In Atahapara

This week I learned about. We did some softball for the first hour we were gonna do netball but i didn’t know how to pitch so we just did softball for the hour then we went into pairs then we had to go on the other side of the turf each then we had to pass the softball to each other underarm and overarm then we did close up then far back we also had a competition and my side won all three of the rounds then we kind of threw our softballs to Tupara then he had to go get the ball

Then we had to go back inside then we all got to go back outside and go to break. The next we had to do some maths it was hard but not that hard so i did get through it then went to break.

We did some writing after that we had to do 1 to 2 paragraphs i didn’t like that because I don’t like writing but I did do 2 paragraphs then if we did at least 1 paragraph then we could go to the last break then we went to break. When we came back from break we did some more writing then we did karakia then we all went home. The one thing I liked was the maths and the softball. One thing I didn’t like was the writing.one thing i enjoyed was playing softball with isla.

This Week I Learnt……

This week I learnt about tally graphs and bar graphs in pangarau.

In pangarau we did a bar graph. We had to ask everyone when is your birthday but in Maori we had to do a tally chart in my pangarau book and after we draw it in our books we had to color it in then we got to go to break.  I did not like going around to everyone asking when is your birthday in Maori but I really liked coloring in the bar chart .
